sometimes things come out pretty accitently, like this square:
I was sitting in a train, in the quiet area. But that was no reason for the man in opposite to me, not to talk without breathing... He was really talking to everybody, strictly bavarian, it was really hard to understand, so you can't speak of a real conversation. However, it seemd to kill my concentartion.
I planed to work a hexagon for the bamcal 2019, this is the pattern: Hexagon Pattern. And I did not mention at all, I was working 7 cd clusters instead of 6. And I continued crocheting and crocheting. At home I wanted to make a circle round my "hexagon"- and that was the moment that I realized: I did not work a hexagon it is- a heptagon.
And if you wanna have your own heptagon square, here are the instructions:
I used connton yarn, DK weight, and hook Nr. 4. Square turned out 22 cm.

Anleitung:
R.1 bis 4: Follow that pattern, but work 7 instead of six repetitions: Hexagon
R.5: begin in a corner: (2 sc in 1 st, sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, sc)x 7, slst (98)
R.6: dc, make two extra dc somewhere in the circle. Does not really matter, where. You should have 100 st now. slst.
R.7: [(in one st: 2 dtc, ch 2, 2 dtc = corner made), dtc, 2 tc, 3 dc, 3 hdc, 6 sc, 3 hdc, 3 dc, 2 tc, dtc]x4, slst
R.8: start in a corner: [(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc = corner made), 28 dc]x4, slst
Have fun with this accident. And thanks to the bavarian man in the train!
