Stars in the Snow

This one is made for my advent wreath. But you can use it for all kind of christmas decoration.

Skill level: easy

Pattern written in US terms

Material:

• acrylic yarn, DK weight

• hook Nr. 3

• scissors

• yarn needle

Abbreviations:

• ch – chain

• slst – slip stitch

• sc – single crochet

• fpsc – front post single crochet

• hdc – half double crochet

• dc – double crochet

• dc3tog – double crochet 3 together

• tc – treble crochet

• fpdc – front post double crochet

• pic – picot (make ch 3, close to a small circle by slst in the first ch)

• st – stitch

The pattern is worked in rounds. At the begiining of the round, you are suggested to replace a sc by ch 1; a hdc by ch 2, a dc by ch 3 and a tc by ch 4. Each round ends with a slst to the first st! This is not extra mentioned in the pattern.

1.: 6 sc in magic ring

2.: (dc3tog, ch 2)x6

3.: (ch 2,fpdc around dc3tog, pic, ch 2, slst into ch- 2- space)x6

4.: ch 1; (sc in pic, ch 5)x6

5.: (6 dc in ch 5- space, ch 2)x6

6.: [slst into next ch 2- space, between the 3^rd and 4^th dc: (dc, ch 1, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch 1, dc)]x6

7.: [sc into first dc, sc into ch 1- space, hdc into 2^nd dc, hdc into ch 1- space, dc into 3^rd dc, (tc, pic) into ch 1- space, dc into 4^th dc, hdc into ch 1- space, hdc into 5^th dc, sc into ch 1- space, sc into 6^th dc, slst around slst of round 6] x6

8.: (tc into slst, ch 3, dc into first hdc, ch 3, sc into pic, ch 3, dc into 2^nd hdc, ch 3) x6

9.: (dc into tc, ch 3, hdc into dc, ch 3, fpsc around sc, ch 3, hdc around dc, ch 3) x6

10.: (5 dc into ch 3- space, fpdc around next st) x24

11.: (fpdc around fpdc, pic, ch 2, slst into 3^rd dc, ch 2) x24

fasten off, weave in ends
